Within the Official Section of Feature Films in Competition of the International Fantastic Film Festival City of La Laguna Isla Calavera, this Friday will take place a new screening of Stories of Halloweenone of the Spanish productions participating this year, with the presentation of its director Kiko Prada and two of its leading actresses, Macarena Gómez and Elisabeth Anne Miller.
Halloween Stories is the first feature film directed by Kiko Prada, who has a long experience in short films and production. His debut feature is a tribute to the fantastic cinema of the 80's and 90's, with the participation of an ensemble cast that also includes Javier Botet (Calavera Island of Honor Award 2024), Mario Mayo, David Pareja, Zorión Eugileor, Aida Folch and María Barranco, among others.
Since her debut 20 years ago, Macarena Gómez has participated in more than 80 projects between film, television and theater for which she has received almost fifty awards and nominations, including a Goya nomination for Best Actress for her role in the horror film Musarañas.
Her face has become one of the most popular on television in Spain for her starring role in the series 'La que se avecina', which has run for 14 seasons, and she participated in the HBO series 30 monedas by Álex de la Iglesia, with whom she had previously worked in the feature film Las brujas de Zugarramundi (The Witches of Zugarramundi).
