Synopsis:
Based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton, John Hammond, tycoon and owner of the multinational bioengineering company InGen, has dreamed all his life of building the world's largest amusement park. An island in Costa Rica, home to the most spectacular creatures that have ever walked the Earth: dinosaurs. Despite the extinction of these reptiles, InGen has managed to clone several species by manipulating segments of DNA from the dinosaur's own blood, found in mosquitoes fossilized in amber. For the opening of Jurassic Park, Hammond has to convince the investors that the attractions are totally safe, so he will invite renowned paleontologist Alan Grant, paleobotanist Ellie Sattler, theorist Ian Malcolm and the investors' representative, as well as his grandchildren Alexis and Tim, to the island. However, this will not be the only problem they will encounter on their dangerous visit; nature will show all its strength through a cyclone that will devastate the island, confirming a truth feared by all: nature does not obey an owner, and neither do dinosaurs.
