Born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Sara Ainhoa Concepción Sálamo is an actress, film director and screenwriter, as well as an activist for women's and animal rights.
After participating in the dubbing of a short film directed by his father at the age of eleven, his passion for acting was awakened. He enrolled in theater activities, in parallel with his studies. When he turned 18 he moved to Madrid to fulfill his dreams.
Television provided her with a solid career and economic stability, as it has happened with many actors and actresses in our country. Television series such as Arrayán (Canal Sur Television, 2001-2013); Toledo, Cruce de Destinos (Antena 3, 2012) or B&B, by word of mouth (Mediaset, Telecinco, 2014-2015); and some episodes of Aída (Telecinco, 2005-2014); Águila roja (RTVE, 2009-2016); or Con el culo al aire (Antena 3, 2012-2014) as guest actress.
Sara Sálamo has been called for other television series with a strong appeal, such as Brigada Costa del Sol (Mediaset-Netflix, 2019). During the COVID 19 confinement, the series Relatos con-fin-a-dos (Prime video, 2020). He also appears in the series Historias para no dormir (Prime Video, 2022) in the episode The Transplant directed by Salvador Calvo. He made his feature film debut with the movie Tres 60 (Spain, 2013) directed by Alejandro Ezcurdia and co-starring Raúl Mérida and Joaquim de Almeida. In Argentina, Sara Sálamo filmed The Cracks of Jara (Spain-Argentina, 2017) directed by Nicolás Gil Saavedra. In 2016, she was part of the cast of the film The Glorious Seven (Germany, 2016), directed by Harald Holzenleiter, inspired by the western classic The Magnificent Seven (USA, 1960), by John Sturges. Like the Foam (Spain, 2017) by Roberto Pérez Toledo and. #Seguidores (Spain, 2017) by Iván Fernández de Córdoba are films that feature her in their casts.
