The Canary Islands Fantastic Film Festival Isla Calavera held this Monday at the Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife the I Industry Meeting: Filming in the Canary Islands, sponsored by the Development Society of the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Tenerife Film Commission, with the collaboration of Blackout Films. A space in which Tenerife companies involved in film production had the opportunity to show their potential to directors and producers from other latitudes.
The event was attended by: Daniel Noah (U.S. producer, SpectreVision), Pablo Berger (screenwriter and director, winner of the Goya Award for best screenplay and best song for Blancanieves), Lucas Figueroa (Argentine director, Fair Dismissal), Lluís Miñarro (director, Love me not), Lola Dueñas (actress, winner of two Goya Awards, for Mar adentro y Yo, también), Sergio Molina (producer), José Luis Alemán (director, La Herencia Valdemar), Marisa Domínguez (producer, La Cruzada Entertainment), Óscar Martín (director, Amigo), Elena Muñoz (producer, El Ojo Mecánico), David Pareja (actor and producer, Amigo), Norma Vila (director and producer, Demeter Films), Andrés Koppel (director, The Mist and the Maiden), Víctor Sahun (distributor, Reel One) and David M. Santana (actor), among others.
The meeting was presented by journalist Miguel Ángel Rodríguez and Sagri Hernández, head of Protocol of the Festival.
